Without naming the high street store what is the Mata plan?
You enter their shop to be invaded with posters saying SPEND OVER £25" receive £5 voucher. So you make sure your shopping comes to more than £25 you pay at till, receive your voucher and then find you have to spend another £25 to be able to use this voucher.
The amount of complaints about this type of voucher, I personally overheard near the checkout area, while visiting one of their stores was unbelievable.
The Christmas cheer they are spreading may just backfire, as customers were expressing their disgust and intentions of not re-visiting the store again.
Fashion retailer who requires you to have a membership with them, before you can shop in their store, which is purely for the reason of gaining your address details so as send promotional material to you all the time. Need to have a quick rethink about their voucher offer.
